Property Offences
In the Australian Capital Territory, property offences are regulated by two separate pieces of legislation: the Criminal Code 2002 and the Crimes Act 1900. Property offences covered by this legislation range from damaging property with a value of only a few dollars to arson. The maximum penalty for a property offence varies depending on the offence.
