In the Australian Capital Territory, property offences are regulated by two separate pieces of legislation; the Criminal Code 2002 and the Crimes Act 1900. Property offences covered by these two Acts ranges from damaging property with a value of less than $1000 to Arson. The maximum penalty for a property offence varies dependant on the offence you have been charged with.
