Ruby Hasler

Ruby is a solicitor in the Sydney crime team who exclusively practices in criminal defence and traffic law. She has gained valuable experience working with some of Sydney’s leading criminal defence firms, where she has developed a strong foundation in advocacy and matter preparation.

Ruby has built a unique perspective on criminal law practice through her experience working in courts across Western Australia and New South Wales.  She was the Associate to His Honour Judge Brady SC at the District Court of New South Wales and assisted with the statewide rollout of the Child Sexual Offence Evidence Program. Prior to this, she was the Research Associate to the Honourable Justice Lemonis at the Supreme Court of Western Australia. She draws on this insight into court processes and judicial reasoning to achieve effective outcomes for her clients.

Ruby obtained her Juris Doctor from the University of Western Australia. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts with a double major in Political Science, International Relations and Business Law.

Ruby is a dedicated practitioner who is guided by her pragmatic approach. She is committed to ensuring her clients are supported and well-informed at all stages of the criminal justice process.
